New restaurant, bar welcomes community to first Ohio location, open in Trumbull County
Ready to try Korean-inspired dinners that are new to Ohio? Mad for Chicken’s first Ohio restaurant is officially open in Trumbull County.
Five years ago, Sean Cho, the founder of Mad for Chicken, decided to expand into a franchise after its success with customers in New York.
In 2025, the company opened its first location in Ohio at 5851 Youngstown Warren Road in Niles.
The Asian-inspired chicken restaurant serves kimchi fries, fried dumplings, nachos, bulgogi and their signature double-fried chicken.
The chicken is fried in a thin layer of flour, then each piece is brushed with the Mad for Chicken secret sauce, which comes in soy garlic or spicy garlic.
To celebrate the milestone for the company, team members hosted a grand opening on New Year’s Eve in Niles.
Place your order online or visit Mad for Chicken in Niles from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
