Local furniture store selected again for Furniture Today’s top 100 U.S. retailers
A family-owned business reappeared on Furniture Today’s top 100 furniture retailers list in the U.S for the second year in a row.
Sheely’s Furniture and Appliance has been open since 1952, founded by Dale Sheely Sr.
Sheely’s ranking is especially impressive as it is the only retailer on the list with just two stores, according to Jessica Smith.
Smith is the granddaughter of Sheely Sr. and now a principal owner of the company.
“It’s humbling to know our showrooms have become such shopping destinations that we rank nationally in sales,” she said. “This honor is a reflection of my grandfather’s founding vision, our dedicated employees and vendors – and especially the loyalty of our customers.”
Sheely’s is also giving back this summer by supporting in-store donations through Sept. 30 at both store locations benefiting Soles of Luv.
Sheely’s offers free local delivery and free haul away of old furniture.
Shop the state’s largest collection of furniture, mattresses, appliances and locally-made brands like Amish Essentials by Archbold and Bob Timberlake on the store’s website.
“This ranking shows the loyalty customers have toward Sheely’s is as unique as our in-store experience. We encourage browsing in our relaxed, no sales pressure environment,” Lance Romeo, a buyer/principal owner at Sheely’s said.
