Niles city leaders help celebrate grand opening of Digiorgio’s Italian Market

The owner of Belleria Pizza in Niles is celebrating the start of a new business venture allowing customers to shop for ingredients and pick up dinner in one trip.

Belleria Pizza Niles hosted a grand opening on Aug. 11 inside the restaurant for their own Digiorgio’s Italian Market, located at 602 Robbins Ave.

Shop for canned peppers, olives, desserts, ingredients and sauces inside the market.

Owner Joe Eckenrode thanked the mayor and Niles city councilman Jimmy Julian for attending the grand opening.

“We still have the best pizza, pasta and wings in town but now we have lots of good Italian specialties inside of our market. Stop in and check us out,” Belleria Niles wrote online.

Digiorgio’s Italian Market is open from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday.
