Mahoning Valley Warrior event to be held June 3

The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley’s annual Mahoning Valley Warrior event will be held June 3 at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
The group’s fund-raiser will start at 9 a.m.
The event is for autism families as well as athletes throughout the Mahoning Valley.

What events will be held during the Mahoning Valley Warrior program?
Events include the Group People-Powered Tractor Pull, Kids Fun Run and/or the Valley Autism 5K.
In addition, for community support and families affected by autism, there will be the 1-mile Autism Support Walk.
“There is an event or two here for every athlete or supporter who wants to help with the great needs of the region’s autism population,” said Aundréa Cika Heschmeyer, ASMV Board Chair, noting the addition of two specialized “strongman” events for athletes. “Plus, our Annual Autism Support Walk is the only such family gathering in the Mahoning Valley that allows us to celebrate these unique families while raising funds to help them.”
