Savannah Joe’s to bring southern-style food to Youngstown
Big flavors are coming to the south side of Youngstown as one restaurant prepares to open its doors in Glenwood Plaza on the south side.
Savannah Joe’s specializes in southern-style cuisine.
The head chef and owner, Joseph Bowers, was born in Savannah and has worked in the industry for thirty years.
When will Savannah Joe’s open?
The restaurant is holding a two-day soft-opening on Friday and Saturday, March 23-24 from noon until 6 p.m.
Then they’ll have a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening Tuesday, March 28 starting at 11 a.m. before the restaurant opens to the public at 1 p.m.

Bowers said he is looking forward to meeting the Mahoning Valley community.

Savannah Joe’s will be open Tuesday through Thursday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.; and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
