The scenes were active from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said three of the shootings were in a six-eight block section of the north side in addition to the one on the east side.

Youngstown police said they are continuing to investigate the case with the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office. They said no further details will be released until a Thursday press conference with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Here is additional information about each location under investigation.

500 block of Tod Lane

Three scenes on the north side were connected as one incident by police investigating the shooting death of a 22-year-old man in Youngstown.

Units responded to the 500 block of Tod Lane, the 400 block of Alameda and the 400 block of Crandall Avenues.

Police said a fight started in the 500 block of Tod Lane with someone firing gunshots.

After shots were fired, police say two men were seen driving away from Tod Lane, one of them injured.

The car soon crashed into a residence in the 400 block of Alameda.

After crashing the vehicle into the house, the two men ran to the 400 block of Crandall where police & paramedics attended to their injuries from the shooting and the crash.

The 22-year old male was transported to Mercy Health where he died.

Himrod Avenue near Pearl

Police are looking for a shooter in a separate assault that happened at the same time on Himrod Avenue near Pearl Street.

A 20-year-old woman was injured in a drive-by shooting investigators say is unrelated to the above north side incident.

While she and a man were driving on Himrod Avenue near Pearl Street, investigators say they were shot at by someone firing a gun at them from inside a house on Pearl Street.

The car was struck several times, bullets injuring the woman sitting in the passenger seat. The driver wasn’t injured.

He drove the passenger to Mercy Health for treatment, where she’s currently in stable condition.

This case is being actively investigated by the Youngstown Police Department Detective Division. No arrests have been made.
