YSU police said Dwayne Cohill got in officer’s face, shouted obscenities and resisted arrest on April 13
Former Youngstown State basketball player Dwayne Cohill was arrested on April 13 after getting rowdy with campus police officers, according to new details on the police report released Monday by the department.
According to reports, Cohill was in a crowd of 50-70 at 10 a.m. Monday when he rapidly approached an officer and stood close to his face.
When police asked Cohill to back up, he refused and repeatedly yelled profanity, reports said.
Police said Cohill was arrested when he wouldn’t calm down. Reports indicated he twisted and struggled against officers and members of the crowd encouraged him to fight the officers.
