Youngstown State star guard Dwayne Cohill charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest
A Youngstown State University basketball player was arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Friday on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in Youngstown Municipal Court.
According to YSU police reports, 23-year-old guard Dwayne Cohill was arrested Thursday at University Edge apartment complex. He’s facing two misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, reports indicated.
“We were made aware of the situation that occurred last night and we are cooperating fully with local authorities,” said Trevor Parks, director of athletics communications at YSU.
According to WKBN, he plead not guilty to the charges in a video arraignment today and was released.
His pretrial is set to start at 10:15 a.m. on May 16.
