50 area students win Cafaro Foundation scholarships
Students seeking to advance their higher education will receive a total of $133,000 of financial support this year from the Cafaro Foundation.
The trustees selected the recipients primarily for their academic merit, while also considering the students’ financial need and the recommendations of teachers and guidance counselors.
The scholarships range in value from $2,000 to $10,000 each.
The William M. and Alyce Cafaro Scholarship is awarded to Kelsey Hamm.
