Going to support a Youngstown State University 2023 graduate in your life at spring commencement this Saturday?

Here’s what you need to know about where to park, where to sit and how family can stream the ceremony from home.

What to know: The event will be held rain or shine at 1 p.m. Saturday at Stambaugh Stadium. Tickets are not required.

Where: Stambaugh Stadium

Time: Commencement starts at 1 p.m. but plan on arriving early to get seats

Cost: Free

Seating: Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Friends and family members of graduates are asked to sit in the west stands in Stambaugh Stadium. The east stands aren’t open for commencement.

Parking: Graduates and guests will be able to park for free at any campus parking lot on graduation day.

Accessible parking is available in the M-81 lot near the stadium, and there will be a shuttle to take guests to the stadium elevators.

Reminders for graduates:

Organizers request graduates arrive two hours before commencement is scheduled to start.

Graduates should arrive fully dressed in their regalia. No purses or bags are permitted for anyone walking on the turf.

Undergraduates enter Stambaugh Stadium through the Hively entrance, while graduate students will use the Ron Jaworski entrance on the opposite side to line up.
