Woman-owned business moves headquarters to Youngstown Business Incubator

It takes a lot to own a business, and Martia Hernandez is celebrating the growth of her self-made company by moving to a brand new location.

Hernandez has been a party planner since 2015 and can provide everything a customer might need to host a successful and glamorous event.

Her company supplies the catering, drinks, seating, tables, decorations and more, now all under one roof.

She owns Touch of Class Party Planning and More, LLC, as well as a catering company called A Taste Above Plus Sweets, LLC.

Hernandez found a new headquarters for her booming businesses at the Youngstown Incubator, a community group known for supporting small businesses, as well as minority-owned and woman-owned businesses.

Hernandez and her family celebrated with a ribbon cutting at May 3 at the new location, 241 W Federal St. Suite No. 401 in Youngstown.

“I am offering full service catering and event planning to the northeast Ohio region,” Hernandez said. “My goal is to service Youngstown, Warren, Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas with full service event planning and catering.”

With the support of her husband and house full of sons behind her, she plans graduation parties, wedding receptions, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties and more.
