PODCAST: Kimberly Mack talks about her book on Living Colour
In our latest podcast, Ohio writer and scholar Dr. Kimberly Mack talks about her new book Living Colour: Time;s Up focusing on the rock-metal band Living Colour’s 1990 album, Time’s Up.
She also previewed her 6 p.m. June 9 appearance at the Westside Bowl in Youngstown.
Mack’s book discusses Living Colour’s epic importance in returning rock to its roots as Black music, while also being musically innovative and politically conscious.
The book talk is co-hosted by Lit Youngstown, Youngstown Action Center, and Westside Bowl.
