Practices for the annual Penn-Ohio Stateline Football Classic begin this week.

The game is set for 7 p.m. June 22 at Salem’s Sebo Stadium.

The Ohio roster is loaded with players from throughout the greater Mahoning Valley.

Serving as the Ohio coach this season is Salem head coach Ron Johnson.

Who won the Penn-Ohio Stateline Football Classic last year?

Ohio rallied in the final minute to win last year’s Stateline Classic 35-28 in a game played at Reeves Stadium on the campus of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa.

This year’s Stateline Classic will mark the 44th renewal of the popular summer all-star football game.

Proceeds from the game are used to fund scholarships which are presented to select graduating students from both Pennsylvania and Ohio schools represented in the game.

Columbiana’s Larry Baughman, a key figure behind the game’s long and successful history, is once again serving as the game director for the Penn-Ohio Stateline Classic.
