Howland Twp. community’s food truck Friday series kicks off this week

Starting June 16, Howland Township will host its first of four Food Truck Fridays from 6- 9 p.m. at Richard E. Orwig Park.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Event-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy local fare and live music with friends and family in the park.

The bluesy Mick Rogers and the Greasy Boys will perform live.

Several food trucks will have a variety of street food for sale: The Alternative, Magic Tree, SV Kitchen Gourmet, Majevics, Galaxy Grill, Torta’Mo, Curby’s Custard and Holy-Y-Cow Donut.

The Howland Food Truck Fridays series takes place the third Friday of the month in June through September at Richard E. Orwig Park, located at 8189 E Market St. in Warren, across from the Giant Eagle.
