Garrettsville man gets 3-year prison sentence after Trumbull County police chase
Brett L. Hemberger, 41, of Garrettsville, on Monday pleaded guilty in the courtroom of Judge Cynthia Rice in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to several felonies connected to a March 22 police chase in Trumbull County involving a stolen motorcycle from Streetsboro.
Hemberger pleaded guilty to charges of failure to comply with order or signal of a peace officer, having weapons while under disability, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and receiving stolen property.
He was given a 36-month prison sentence and ordered to pay $1,147 for damages to the stolen motorcycle, according to court records.
