Rebel Rescue Ranch hosts weekend fundraiser at Penguin City Beer

When you order a special drink served at Penguin City Brewery this Sunday, the proceeds will be donated to an organization helping needy animals.

What is Rebel Rescue Ranch?

Rebel Rescue Ranch is a non-profit organization founded by Ame Riggs in Berlin Center, Ohio.

At the Ranch, Riggs helps small domestic pets and exotic animals from Ohio who need a safe sanctuary, medical care and adoption.

She’s celebrating six years as a one-woman operation and could use your help raising funds to help more animals in need.

She cares for goats, chickens, kittens, dogs, rabbits, lizards, and guinea pigs at any time.

When is the Beach Please! Rebel Rescue Ranch fundraiser?

Head to Penguin City Beer from noon - 6 p.m. this Sunday in Youngstown for the fundraiser celebration.

Adults have a $5 cover charge, but kids under 12 get in free.

When you order a Beach Bunny, a tropical punch mixed with Malibu and Absolut vodka, the money will be given directly to Rebel Rescue Ranch.

After grabbing a drink and stopping by the food truck, enjoy the entertainment at Penguin City, which includes live music, live chainsaw carvings, and an all-ages hula hoop contest. YoBigBounce will also set up their giant Danger Zone Obstacle Course.

Live music from “Fins to the Left” starts at 1 p.m., then a steel drum performance by Daniel Shiller at 2:30-3:30 p.m.

There’s even more entertainment with a live stilt walker, fire hoop, and fire-eating performance by Brittney Marie.

Wear your best beach attire to win prizes, and don’t forget to enter the basket raffle.
