Boardman Park hosts Family Night this weekend

Summer will be over sooner than we know it, so it’ll be important for many to take time this weekend to be with loved ones.

If you’re looking for something to do Saturday evening, bring the family out to the Maag Outdoor Theatre in Boardman.

It’s Family Night at 6 p.m. at Boardman Park. Guests will want to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

There will be concessions available for purchase but it’s free to get into the event.

Starting at 6 p.m. kids can enjoy the bounce house, wagon rides and visit Jocko the balloon man.

Then from 6:30-8 p.m., listen to live music performed by the Purple Cat’s house band, Feral Cats.

Stick around for Porgie the Clown’s show scheduled for 8:15 p.m., followed by a screening of The Greatest Showman at dusk.
