Making history at Youngstown’s first Pickle Palooza
Ahead of its fifth-anniversary celebration, Penguin City Brewing Company has been recognized for revitalizing downtown Youngstown and bringing the community together.
They’re making local history this weekend by hosting Youngstown’s first Pickle Palooza.
The event features a pickle eating contest, hot dog eating contest, pickleball tournament and the little gherkin contest.
Head to Penguin City Brewing Company from noon until 11 p.m. for live music, vendors and beer.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online.
After this weekend, festivities continue at Penguin City Brewery, with the five-day fifth-anniversary celebration from Wednesday through Sunday.
