A 49-year-old employee of a Howland gas station told township police about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 20 that he has been harassed by a drone.

The man called police to report for the past week, he has been followed by a drone when he goes to work at the BP at 110 Niles Cortland Road.

He said the drone also follows him home and hovers over his house.

What police discovered during the investigation

Police went to the gas station to take the report and the man also reported three days ago, some vehicles swerved at him while he was walking home on Laurelwood Drive.

He told police he believes the vehicles were working with the drone to try to scare him. Police, however, discovered that the man had active warrants out of Warren Municipal Court and was brought to jail for not appearing in court to answer traffic offenses.

In the report, the prisoner would only say that the police department is now working together with the drone and the government. Police officers told the man his harassment report would be taken and put on file.
