Youngstown Municipal Court helping residents with suspended licenses get back on the road
Learn about resources and necessary steps to reinstate a suspended driver’s license at an event with Youngstown Municipal Court.
Join Judge Renee M. DiSalvo for Steering Clear, a suspended license intervention workshop, at 9 a.m. Oct. 7 at Price Memorial AME Zion Church in Youngstown.
According to the court, individuals with suspended driver’s licenses are encouraged to attend.
Participants will get to talk one-on-one with a license restoration specialist and a volunteer attorney about their situation to determine the steps needed to reinstate their Ohio driver’s license.
Space is limited and only the first 50 participants will be accepted.
Learning more about the Ohio BMV Reinstatement Fee Amnesty Initiative
The Ohio BMV”s Reinstatement Fee Amnesty program is for permanent driver license reinstatement to reduce the number of fees drivers will have to pay to get their license.
Waivers are for individuals whose driver’s license have been suspended for specific violations.
According to Youngstown Municipal Court, the following courts will acknowledge the certificate of attendance and are willing to participate in the Ohio BMV program:
- Mahoning County Courts
- Boardman
- Sebring
- Austintown
- Canfield
- Campbell Municipal Court
- Girard Municipal Court
- Trumbull County Eastern District Court
- Brookfield
- Trumbull County Central District Court
- Cortland
- Struthers Municipal Court
- Newton Falls Municipal Court
- Warren Municipal Court
