Downtown Youngstown lights will be blue and white Sunday night, Israel event slated

Premier Bank said they would join other downtown businesses in lighting up downtown blue and white in support of Israel in the conflict with Hamas on Oct. 15.

In addition, the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation will hold “Shine a Light for ISRAEL!” at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15 on the front lawn of the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, 505 Gypsy Lane.

Statements from public officials will be read.

At the conclusion of those statements, the JCC will be illuminated in blue and white, showing solidarity with Israel. Premier Bank, Stambaugh Auditorium, and JAC (Market Street Bridge) will also be illuminated in blue and white to show their solidarity.
