Drequan K. Abdullah, 24, an inmate at Trumbull Correctional Institution in Warren, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment with a bodily substance and received a six-month prison sentence Tuesday in the Trumbull County Common Pleas courtroom of Judge Ronald J. Rice.

That term will be served consecutively to the nine-year term Abdullah is currently serving for a conviction of aggravated robbery and having weapon while under disability out of Mahoning County.

Abdulah is now expected to be released in April of 2027.

The latest case involved Abdullah on Aug. 14, 2022, throwing a cup of urine through the door of his prison cell, striking a corrections officer, according to prosecutors.

The plea deal offset a jury trial that was scheduled to begin Oct. 23 in Judge Rice’s courtroom.
