Youngstown State art students complete adventurous mural outside Trek Coffee House
Students in the Youngstown State University Department of Art spent one class this semester working on the design and color of a larger-than-life outdoor mural.
Sixteen students taking the site-specific painting class offered by YSU Department of Art painted a 50-foot-long mural 15 feet high outside Trek Coffee House.
It’ll be hard to miss; the expansive and colorful mural is on the west side of the new shop called Trek Coffee House, located at 1588 Mahoning Ave.
The class was taught by art professor Dragana Crnjak.
The students completed the mural this week.
