A newly-opened Mahoning Valley business has some big plans for the end of the year: they’re expanding.

Sweet Memories Vintage Tees is already Ohio’s largest manufacturer of candy and ice cream licensed T-shirts, opening in February of 2023.

With their shirts, you can incorporate your love of your favorite branded sweet treat, like circus peanuts or Youngstown’s own Good Humor Ice Cream, into any casual, every-day wardrobe.

What is the expansion?

The women-owned business just announced they’re cutting the ribbon on a new retro toy store, full of novelty toys and vintage games.

There’s a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. on Nov. 15 at the business.

Head to Sweet Memories Vintage Tees and Retro Toy Store is located at 1282 Trumbull Avenue in Girard.

The expansion features an exclusive partnership with the historical Idora Park Experience.

After the official ribbon cutting, there’s a three-day event from Nov. 24 - 26 to celebrate the expansion.

Stop by for pictures with Santa Claus and to browse the collection from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

They’re not just in the business to bring sweet success to themselves; their business model is also all about giving back.

All of their apparel is designed and screen-printed locally at founder Linda Barton’s business, New Dawn Design in Liberty Township.
