First Ohio Grocery Outlet Bargain Market location opening doors in Boardman next week
Another grocery store is opening its doors to Mahoning County residents, and it’ll be the first of its kind in Ohio.
Grocery Outlet Bargain Market has 450 grocery store locations in the U.S. where they sell name brand household products for a discount.
This month, they’re cutting the ribbon on the first location in the state right here in Boardman.
The new location creates over 20 new jobs in the community, according to independent operators Eric and Sarah Senges.
The Senges also own the Grocery Outlet located in New Castle, Penn. and decided to expand their successful operation to Boardman and more Mahoning Valley customers.
The new store is located at 317 Boardman Poland Road in Boardman.
Opening day celebrations
During a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 16, the Senges are donating $1,000 to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.
Although the store won’t officially open until 10 a.m., the first 100 customers in line at 8 a.m. will receive a Grocery Outlet Bliss Buck gift card between $5 - $500.
Everyone who stops by on opening day will receive free limited-edition reusable bag, while supplies last. Don’t forget to try out the Wheel of Bargains’ Spin and Win for a chance to win a prize.
From Nov. 6 through Dec. 14, customers can also enter a giveaway for a chance to win $1,000 in free groceries.
