Special deals for Veterans Day this Saturday in Mahoning Valley

Here’s some information about local deals and discounts for veterans this weekend in recognition of Veterans Day.

There are also some Veterans Day closures to keep in mind.

McDonald’s Veterans Day deal

Service members can take a trip to McDonald’s for a free breakfast, lunch or dinner any time on Saturday.

Veterans and active-duty service members get a free breakfast meal with their choice of an egg McMuffin or a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and a hash brown.

For lunch, choose between either a double cheeseburger or six-piece chicken nuggets. All lunch and dinner options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and small fries.

U.S. Post Office closed

Retail and customer services at post offices across Ohio will be closed this Saturday in observance of Veterans Day.

Customers who still need to use the post office can use the self-service kiosks available at select Post Offices.

There also won’t be any mail delivery, caller service or post office box service on Saturday.

Post office services will be back open Nov. 13.
