Jungle Juice: Northeast Ohio entrepreneurs launch first hard fruit punch on the market
Two northeast Ohio entrepreneurs crafted their own one-of-a-kind beverage that’s on the shelves in stores across Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
The two Kent State University alumni joined forces to make the first non-carbonated alcoholic fruit punch on the market called Jungle Juice.
Founded in 2021, Jungle Juice launched at the 2023 homecoming weekend celebration at Kent State University, selling out of drinks fast.
Co-founder Spencer Forrest, 24, said Jungle Juice recently surpassed a major business milestone: 300 12-packs sold within three weeks.
Where can you find Jungle Juice?
You can find Jungle Juice at 55 retailers in the area, located on the map on the website.
“As Jungle Juice grows, our company embraces a future that is rich with promise and opportunity,” said Forrest. “Through innovation, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, we’ve set unprecedented standards within our industry. With our foundation of resilience, and an unwavering vision, we eagerly anticipate a bright and successful future for Jungle Juice.”
Forrest is originally from Pittsburgh, but met his business partner Marius Karl, 24, at KSU through the international students program. Karl is originally from Austria.

They want to expand the brand into southeast Ohio, including Ohio University and Ohio State University, during the first quarter of 2024.
