Ohio State Highway Patrol announces trooper, dispatcher of the year in Warren
Two employees at the Warren post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are being recognized for their hard work.
Meet the Trooper of the Year
Scott C. Boyle is being recognized as this year’s Trooper of the Year at the Warren post.
Boyle was chosen by his co-workers for this honor based “on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers and the public.”
Boyle is originally from Mecca Township and a graduate of Maplewood High School.
Now he’s in line for the District and State Trooper of the Year award, which will be announced at a later date.
Meet the Dispatcher of the Year
Kathryn L. Kringeta is being recognized with the 2023 Ohio State Highway Patrol Telecommunications Award at the Warren Dispatch Center.
Kringeta is originally from Champion. She graduated from Champion High School and Kent State University.
Fellow dispatchers “chose Kringeta based on technical job knowledge and ability, enthusiastic work attitude, teamwork, and prompt and courteous response to the public’s requests for information and assistance.”
She’s been working at the Warren post since 2014.
