Vote for Mahoning Valley schools in ODOT Paint-the-Plow contest
Multiple Mahoning Valley schools are participating in an annual art contest put on by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
During ODOT’s Paint-the-Plow contest, local schools and non-profit organizations paint an ODOT snowplow blade.
Students from schools in Mahoning and Trumbull counties throughout ODOT’s fourth district painted positive messages.
A lot of the students chose to advocate for safe driving or spread the word about a local cause, like Hubbard High School and the Choose Joy for Melina Foundation message.
The following schools have entries in the contest:
- Austintown-Fitch High School
Bloomfield-Mespo Local Schools
Hubbard High School
- Jackson-Milton Local Schools
- Mineral Ridge High School
Newton Falls High School
- South Range High School
- Southington Local Schools
- Warren John F. Kennedy Catholic High School
- Warren G. Harding High School
You can vote by liking the photos on ODOT’s Facebook post here; each like counts as a vote.
Whether you’re voting for your favorite work of art or staying loyal to your alma mater, cast your votes by 3 p.m. Dec. 8.
