Drivers: Mill Creek MetroParks announces upcoming seasonal road closures
With winter weather quickly approaching, Mill Creek MetroParks is getting ready for the snow.
The following roads on Mill Creek MetroParks grounds will be blocked off to traffic starting Friday throughout the winter:
- High Drive, between Chestnut Hill Drive and West Cohasset Drive
- Chestnut Hill Drive, between Canfield Road and High Drive
- Calvary Run Drive, between Belle Vista Avenue and Milton Avenue
While the roads are closed for drivers, they’re still open to use for walks, hikes, sled rides and skiing.
The roads won’t be treated with salt or plowed, which saves money, according to Mill Creek.
All roads will be reopened next spring when the weather permits.
