Premier Bank awards $382,000 to over 100 community partners in Youngstown
Mahoning Matters is highlighting good news happening in the Mahoning Valley.
Today, we’re highlighting a kindness campaign at one multi-state corporation that’s at the heart of Youngstown: Premier Bank.
Every year, Premier Bank runs a campaign with community partners called “Powered By (kind) People. Fueled By You.”
The bank awarded a total of $1,380,736 to 472 community partners this year in Ohio.
In the Mahoning Valley, the bank specifically awarded around $382,000 to 121 community partners.
Premier Bank employees also volunteered more than 1,800 hours at local events and organizations they are passionate about.
Josh Toot, president of Premier Bank’s Mahoning Valley market, explained they choose partners who “share in the bank’s dedication and passion for spreading kindness, doing good deeds and strengthening communities.”
“Giving back and supporting our local communities while spreading kindness in the places we call home is at the heart of what we do here at Premier,” said Toot. “We value our relationships with our community partners and [we’re] grateful for the work that they do to benefit families’ right here in the Mahoning Valley. We truly believe that working together we can make our community stronger.”
This support includes, but is not limited to, the following local partners:
- American Cancer Society for the 2023 Tri-County Golf Classic
