There was a great crowd for this year’s Kids Career Fair, held Feb. 10 at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in Canfield and Valley STEM Academy.

The event drew hundreds of youth and their parents and showcased a variety of careers available in the area – including manufacturing.

City Machine Technologies helped organize the event with Valley STEM Academy. The Mahoning Valley Manufacturing Coalition was among the dozens of exhibitors, along with manufacturer members Brilex Industries , Humtown and Schwebel’s.

Kids participated in hands-on activities and asked questions about what the companies do. Interacting with young people and their families about manufacturing careers lays the groundwork for the future workforce.
