Organizers are gearing up for two weeks full of festivities beginning March 8 through March 17 in the Mahoning Valley area.

March 8
Old Dublin Fish Fry Classic haddock dinner and entertainment by County Mayo from 5 - 8 p.m. at Kravitz Deli, located at 3135 Belmont Ave. in Youngstown
- Pre-Pat Party at 9 p.m. at Krakatoa Tropical Food and Spirits in Boardman
March 9
Emerald Isle Brunch Special Irish-inspired breakfast menu items all day at Kravitz Deli, located at 3135 Belmont Ave. in Youngstown, plus a visit from the Leprechaun. Enjoy Reubens, magical Leprechaun waffles, green eggs n’ ham, corned beef hash, Irish brownies and cookies.
Visit the Youngstown Four Leaf Flea at 9 a.m. -3 p.m. at 365 E. Boardman St. in Youngstown.
March 10
- The Mahoning Valley St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 1 p.m. at Market Street and McClurg Road in Boardman. It’ll head north on Market Street to Southwoods Avenue.
March 11
Make your own Reuben kit for $16, carry-out at Kravitz Deli, located at 3135 Belmont Ave. in Youngstown
March 12
- It’s Leprechaun Bagel Day at Kravitz Deli, located at 3135 Belmont Ave. in Youngstown, while supplies last from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at at Kravitz Deli, located at 3135 Belmont Ave. in Youngstown.
There’s a cooking class at 5:30 p.m. where you’ll be learn to cook Colcannon, a traditional Irish dish with cabbage and potatoes, at the main branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County on Wick Avenue.
March 15
- Visit Penguin City Beer for the St. Patrick’s Day kick-off party at 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. with DJ PUFF and food from Tra’s Gourmet Food Truck
Kick off the weekend with live music from The Irish Brigaders in the taproom at 7 p.m. at Noble Creature Wild Ales and Lagers in Youngstown.
March 16
- Taproom opens at 8 a.m. to kick off the two-day St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Birdfish Brewing Company in Columbiana. For entertainment, enjoy performances by the Burke School of Irish Dance, Steel Valley Pipes and Drums and The Hired Hands. Grab a bite from De-Lishas food truck or Frytanic food truck. - Enjoy Irish tea and homemade quiche from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Piccadilly Parlour in Canfield
Visit Penguin City Beer for day two of the St. Patrick’s Day weekend starting with Baldrick’s head shaving fundraiser at 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Grab a bite from Dirusso’s Sausage from noon - 10 p.m. or the Irish Buffet by Love Soup starts starting at 2 p.m. until they’re sold out. Doors open at 7 p.m. for Geo C and the Storm’s show at 8 p.m. - midnight; tickets are $5
March 17
- It’s day two of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Birdfish Brewing Company in Columbiana. The taproom opens at 9 a.m., and there will be entertainment from Steel Valley Pipes and Drums, DJ Blaze, The Hired Hands and The Irish Brigadiers. - Enjoy Irish tea and homemade quiche from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Piccadilly Parlour in Canfield
- St. Patrick’s Day celebration starts at 9:30 a.m. at Knoll Run Golf Course in Lowellville. Have traditional Irish food while listening to Irish band Seamus at 1 - 4 p.m. and No Funk, No Justice at 5 p.m.
Special hours for St. Patrick’s Day at Penguin City Beer from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. The Steel Valley Pipe n’ Drum band plays at 11:30 a.m., followed by County Mayo Irish Band from noon -8 p.m. Enjoy food by Kravitz Deli and RJ Smokers BBQ; tickets are $5
- Enjoy kegs and eggs breakfast at 11 a.m. at Noble Creature Wild Ales and Lagers in Youngstown.
