Warren man sentenced on fentanyl charge
The following cases were handled Wednesday before Judge Sean O’Brien of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court:
- Raymond Harrison, 33, of West Market Street, Warren was sentenced to an indefinite prison term of two to three years. He had pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of fentanyl-related compound, a second-degree felony. The case involved a July 2020 investigation by the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office. Judge O’Brien stated that Harrison was not eligible for parole because of five previous felony convictions and three prior prison terms.
- George D. Ritenour, 45, of Carson Salt Springs Road, Newton Falls, Warren, was given a 24-month prison sentence and fined $5,000 after he pleaded guilty to one cunt of aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony. Ritenour was not eligible for parole because of three previous felony convictions and two prior prison terms. The case involved a November 12, 2022 arrest by Liberty Township police.
- De’Ayra Hudson, 24, of Forest Ridge Court, Mineral Ridge, pleaded guilty to an amended indictment of one count, fourth-degree endangering children. Hudson will submit to a background investigation conducted by probation officers and faces a possible maximum 18-month prison term. The case involved a May 24, 2023, incident where two toddlers were found unsupervised in the middle of busy Route 46 in Mineral Ridge, prosecutors stated. A passerby took the children to safety, and found the mother who earlier that month (May 2023) had pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor endangering children charge in Niles Municipal Court.
- Joshua Pastore, 45, Ravenna Road, Newton Falls, pleaded guilty to a third-degree burglary felony and will face possible 36-month prison term. He will submit to a background investigation conducted by probation officers. Pastore was caught on August 4., 2023, after a security system alerted a resident in the 1500 block of Maplewood NE in Warren that someone had forced their way into her home. A bag of stolen goods was found in the backyard of the Maplewood home, prosecutors stated. The plea hearing offset a trial that was scheduled to start March 21 before Judge O’Brien.
