Thanks to video from surveillance cameras provided by local business owners, the Mahoning County Dog Warden is piecing together what happened to an abandoned dog.

According to the warden’s office, a dog was left in a driveway at 4 a.m. on Monday on Riblett Road in Youngstown.

The dog was found inside a crate closed with zip ties, described as “very scared, cold and skinny.”

Local business owners in the area at Schaedler Yesco and Americon Restoration called the Mahoning County Dog Warden when their employees found the dog.

According to the post, the surveillance cameras at Americon Restoration caught a glimpse of the car.

The Mahoning County Dog Warden is asking Youngstown residents with any information about this incident to call (330) 740-2205.
