Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to be on the alert for a phone scam.

“Citizens are being contacted from someone claiming to be Terry Martin or Sgt. Lindow with the Traffic Citation Division at Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office and told to call 330-521-9632.,” the department said in a Facebook post. “MCSO will never contact anyone for money.”
