The Butler Institute of American Art reported the theft of a 70-inch bronze spear attached to one of its outdoor sculptures.

An official said the museum became aware of the incident on March 20 and did not believe it was attached to the sculpture.

According to the report, the suspect was seen walking down Wick Avenue after stealing it.

Tips can be called into the Youngstown Police Department at 330-747-7911.
