Youngstown Cultural Alliance officially sets date for Summer Festival of the Arts

Event organizer Katie Merrill announced the official date for this year’s Summer Festival of the Arts in Youngstown.

“We are thrilled to once again host the Summer Festival of the Arts in Wean Park,” said Merrill. “This event showcases the incredible talent of artists from across the region and provides an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the arts.”

The annual two-day festival is happening from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. July 27 and July 28 at Wean Park.

Local artists are invited to apply to be featured in this year’s festival.

They’re looking to feature painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, mixed-media artists and creator of other types of art.
