Heck Ya! hot dog shoppe opens in Youngstown; here’s when to visit
A family-owned business is now serving chili dogs from a re-purposed shipping container to Youngstown guests craving unique lunch or dinner on the go.
Bill West started Heck Ya!, a new business decked in red and yellow paint now open at 1680 McCartney Road in Youngstown.
After a ribbon cutting with the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, Heck Ya! is open for business every day except on Mondays.
They’re serving fries and chili dogs called the Filly Dog, which West explained is in honor of his mom, whose nickname was Filly.
She was legally blind but came up with the signature chili dog recipe by accident while preparing dinner for her family.
Heck Ya! is open from 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday – Friday and 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
