Drug task force seizes thousands of grams of cocaine, fentanyl from Warren home
Officers with the local police departments, the county sheriff’s office and the Trumbull Action Group Drug Task Force collected thousands of grams of illegal substances during a multi-department, months-long drug investigation.
Several Warren Police Street Crimes Unit and TAG task force officers found over 1,000 grams of suspected cocaine.
They found the illegal substances while serving a search warrant on Tuesday inside a home on Milton Street in Warren.
Police also reported finding money, three handguns and what they believe is 129 grams of fentanyl and 50 grams of fentanyl pills.
The drugs still have to be tested at a lab before the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office can file charges, according to the sheriff’s office.
“We would like to thank the citizens of Trumbull County for their continued support as we work together to make our communities a safer place,” the sheriff’s office wrote.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Howland Township and Brookfield Township police departments also assisted in the investigation.
