The Trumbull County Sheriff’s TAG Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Wednesday in the 1900 block of Deerfield Avenue SW in Warren.

The search warrant execution was the result of a lengthy drug investigation, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s office.

During the search, the Task Force seized about 23 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 18 grams of suspected Fentanyl, two handguns, ammunition, a digital scale and about $6,000 in U.S. currency.

The suspected drug evidence will be sent out to a laboratory for testing. Once the test results are received, criminal charges are expected to be filed and the case turned over to the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office.

In this raid, the task force was assisted by the Warren Police Street Crimes Unit, the Howland Township Police Department, the Brookfield Township Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
