The fifth annual Mahoning Valley Warrior Competition will return to the Canfield Fairgrounds this Saturday, bringing together athletes and community members.

It’s a fundraiser for the Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley. It supports families impacted by autism by providing programs, support and resources.

The event features the region’s largest special needs resource fair and entertainment for kids from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds.

Events are happening near and around the Grandstand, located at 7265 Columbiana-Canfield Road in Canfield.

Agenda for 2024 Mahoning Valley Warrior Competition

The resource fair aims to bring information and local contacts directly to families affected by autism and other special needs.

The day centers around four main competitions: a 5K race, the people-powered tractor pull, Strongman and Ohio’s Strongest competitions.

Local and regional strength athletes are coming to the Mahoning Valley Warrior Competition to compete for the coveted Warrior championship belt and $250.

Individuals and groups can participate in singular or multiple events offered that day.
