Six arrests made Friday night at OVI checkpoint in Mahoning County

Six arrests were reported after an Ohio State Highway Patrol OVI checkpoint held Friday night on Ohio 7.

Patrol officials said 178 cars passed through the checkpoint and three were diverted for standardized field sobriety testing which resulted in two OVI arrests. In addition, three additional OVI arrests were made as part of saturation patrols along with a felony weapons arrest.
