Boardman Extreme Air employee accused of assaulting young boy during dodgeball game

An employee of Extreme Air at 360 McClurg Road, Boardman, was accused of assaulting a juvenile boy during a birthday party at the facility on May 25.

One of the parents at the party notified the parent of the victim of the incident. The parent of the victim reported the incident to Boardman police the next day and was advised about pursuing charges against the employee who was in his late teens, according to the police report.

According to the report, the boy and his friends were playing dodgeball against some of the Extreme Air employees. The victim stated he threw the ball and unintentionally struck one of the employees in the face.

The worker became upset, the report stated, and he ran over and grabbed the victim and pushed him up against the wall. The boy had suffered some bruising and scratches to his abdomen area.

Photographs of the injuries were provided to police, the report stated.
