A woman was reportedly seen stealing over $2,000 worth of window material from Lowe’s on Doral Drive.

Boardman police responded to a call from Lowe’s on Thursday, where an employee reported that they had caught a woman on CCTV footage stealing several items from the store on May 26.

The woman had entered the store during the afternoon, roamed around for an hour and walked out of the lumber center’s doors without paying for the items she picked up, according to reports. This included seven exterior house windows, five miscellaneous items such as window blinds and a water cooler, police said.

The woman had then left the area in the passenger seat of a black Dodge, with someone else driving the vehicle.

The report stated the total amount of the stolen items was $2,217.

Boardman police recognized the woman in the surveillance footage as a suspect from another case and were able to identify her quickly. The owner of the Dodge was also involved in the same case from earlier.

Boardman police are continuing to investigate the matter.
