Here’s what voters need to know about upcoming drive-through registration in Youngstown

According to Jaladah Aslam, vice chairperson of the Youngstown Community Mobilization Coalition, residents are encouraged to visit a drive-through for voter registration check at a favorite staple of the Youngstown community.

The drive-through voter registration and petition signing on Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Charlie Staples-Pitt Boss restaurant in Youngstown.

“We will have individuals sign petitions to amend the state constitution to Increase the Minimum Wage and to Change the Ohio Redistricting Commision. Members of the public can drive into the parking lot, sign the petitions, check their voter registration status and drive off without having to leave their vehicle,” said Aslam.

Charlie Staples-Pitt Boss is located at 372 W. Rayen Ave. in Youngstown.

Oct. 7 is the registration deadline coming up for Ohio voters for the general election, which is Nov. 5.
