Youngstown police say man tried to hide large bag of cocaine in underwear before arrest
A man was arrested by Youngstown police after attempting to conceal a large bag of cocaine inside his underwear.
Youngstown police were investigating a case at Premier Bank on East Midlothian Boulevard and Market Street on Wednesday. They found that two men were reportedly entering a restricted area of the bank.
Officers asked one of the men, Brian James, if he consented to a pat down. James agreed to let the officers search him.
One of the officers felt “an unusual bulge” inside James’s pants, according to the report. Upon investigating further, officers found a bag tied in a knot with a large amount of cocaine in James’s underwear.
James was subsequently arrested for drug possession and transported to the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office.
