Meet the newest weatherperson at WKBN-TV in Youngstown

Annie Giovannucci is the newest weatherperson at WKBN-TV in Youngstown.

Giovannucci recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Atmospheric Science.

She will work on the morning shows for WKBN and WYFX Fox Youngstown. Giovannucci starts in her new role Monday.

“We are excited to add Annie Giovannucci to Storm Team 27 and our morning and noon team,” said Jason Vinkler, WKBN-TV News Director. “I think our viewers will see her enthusiasm for meteorology as she helps tell the weather story each day.”

“Weather has been a passion of mine ever since I was a little girl, and TV meteorologists were celebrities to me! It is truly a privilege and gift to fulfill that dream of becoming one.” Giovannucci said. “It is my hope and goal to inspire a love and fascination for science and our atmosphere with our viewers.”
