Starbucks is partnering with the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley to collect items from 5-7 p.m. Monday to help the victims of the Realty Building explosion.

The Austintown location, 851 N. Canfield Niles Road, is the primary drop-off location for collection, but items can be dropped off at other area locations.

The United Way says they are in desperate need of:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Hygiene items
  • Cleaning supplies

Clothing items are also accepted.

Financial donations can be made by scanning the QR code on the United Way flyer at area stores.

The financial donations will go toward larger items like furniture and appliances for those in need.
