What happens at Wean Park for Summer Festival of the Arts?
For 26 years, organizations that make up the Cultural Alliance have set up the summer event celebrating artists of all varieties from northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
“We are thrilled to once again host the Summer Festival of the Arts in Wean Park,” said Katie Merrill, Summer Festival of the Arts event organizer. “This event showcases the incredible talent of artists from across the region and provides an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the arts.”
Bob Barko Jr.’s one of the 40 different artists, civic and cultural groups setting up shops and displays at Wean Park to sell merchandise, introduce the community to their upcoming season, educate about their mission or showcase their facility.
Barko Jr.’s “A Retrospective YO” will be released for public sale at the festival.
There will be entertainment for children, as well as live performances by musicians and dancers, providing an immersive cultural experience for attendees of all ages.
